SEAHOLM® celebrates the Texas Rangers' 200th Anniversary
SEAHOLM is proud to partner with the Texas Rangers to celebrate their 200th anniversary. This is a historic milestone for the Texas Rangers and an honor for SEAHOLM. With a team of current Rangers, we have developed a once in a lifetime watch for a once in a lifetime event. The Texas Rangers Bicentennial Offshore Dive Watch identifies a person as a Ranger or family of a Ranger when worn. We are limiting production to 200 numbered watches that are only available to Rangers.
Established in 1823, the Texas Rangers have carved an indelible mark on American law enforcement. Originally formed as a volunteer force to protect Anglo-American settlers from Native American raids, the Rangers quickly adapted to the changing tides of Texas history. During the Texas Revolution, they played a crucial role in securing the state's independence, and in the post-Civil War era, they maintained law and order on the turbulent frontier. Renowned for their toughness and resourcefulness, the Rangers tackled a diverse array of challenges, from cattle rustlers and outlaws to border disputes. Their iconic status grew with tales of legendary lawmen like John Coffee "Jack" Hays and Samuel Walker. The Rangers also played a key role in the Mexican-American War, displaying their adaptability in various conflicts. Over the years, the Texas Rangers have evolved into a professional law enforcement agency, but their commitment to justice and the defense of Texas's interests remains unwavering. As the year 2023 marks their bicentennial, the Texas Rangers stand as the oldest continuously operating state law enforcement agency in the United States, embodying two centuries of service, sacrifice, and an enduring legacy in the Lone Star State.
